Forest Preserves of Cook County to Host Career Opportunity Information Session

Attendees can learn about career opportunities, open positions


The Forest Preserves of Cook County is hosting a Career Opportunities Information Session from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 19, at the Forest Preserves’ General Headquarters building, 536 N Harlem Ave. in River Forest. During the information session, attendees can meet with representatives from the Forest Preserves’ Human Resources, Resource Management, and Conservation and Experiential Programming departments to learn about potential careers and current job opportunities with the Forest Preserves.


Also during the Career Opportunity Information Session, attendees can gain a better understanding of the Forest Preserves’ online application system, as well as sign up to receive future Forest Preserves’ job opportunities bulletins.


Positions currently available with the Forest Preserves of Cook County include:

  • Director of Facilities and Fleet (Full-Time/Appointed Position)
  • Nature Center Director (Full-Time Position)
  • Maintenance Equipment Operator (Full-Time Position)
  • Naturalist Aide (Part-Time Position)
