Enjoy An Evening at Trailside Museum of Natural History

Special event to include indoor, outdoor activities

 

Trailside Museum of Natural History will be hosting a special event, An Evening at Trailside, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 20. The event invites visitors to get up close and personal with the Nature Center while enjoying indoor and outdoor activities.

 

An Evening at Trailside will give attendees the opportunity to touch turtles, snakes, skulls and skins; learn how the resident animals’ food is prepared; make a glowing lantern craft and go on a lantern parade; meet Trailside Museum’s owls up close; and much more.

 

An Evening at Trailside is free to attend. Trailside Museum of Natural History is one of six nature centers in the Forest Preserves of Cook County, and is located at 738 Thatcher Avenue in River Forest, Ill.
