The Forest Preserve District of Cook County operates the Beck Lake Off-Leash Dog Area for visitors to unleash their dogs. The Bremen Grove Off-Leash Dog Area will open in late Fall 2012.
These are currently the only locations within the District’s holdings where dogs may be unleashed. Dog owners wishing to enter the Beck Lake or Bremen Grove Off-Leash Dog Areas must first procure a permit for the location. Current vaccinations are required in Dog Friendly Areas. Please have your veterinarian fill out the Veterinarian’s Health Report form and submit it along with Permit Application.
