Wildlife Rehabilitation

The Forest Preserve District of Cook County's Hal Tyrell Trailside Museum is not currently accepting any animals for rehabilitation. However, if you find an injured animal, feel free to contact the Museum for the phone number of the nearest licensed animal rehabilitator near you.

The Resource Management Department’s wildlife biology section monitors wildlife for health and population, and may deal with wildlife problems and conflicts. The District does NOT provide animal control or nuisance animal services on private property.
