POLICY OF MODEL BOAT USE WITHIN THE FOREST PRESERVE DISTRICT OF COOK COUNTY

Some waters within the Forest Preserve District are designated to allow the operation of Radio Controlled Model Boats. Designated areas are available for any and all individuals and/or organizations on a first-come, first-served basis.

Organizations may request permission to have model boat events with participants and/or spectators of 25 or more people, by submitting a Special Activity Application to our Permits and Recreational Activities Administration.
