The Forest Preserve District of Cook County provides the Beck Lake Dog Friendly Area for visitors to unleash their dogs. This is the ONLY location within the District’s holdings where dogs may be unleashed. Dog owners wishing to enter Dog Friendly Areas MUST procure a permit for the location. Current vaccinations are required in Dog Friendly Areas. Please have your veterinarian fill out the Veterinarian’s Health Report form and submit it along with Permit Application.
