DESCRIPTION:Due to the weather forecast\, our Fall Festival at River Trail Nature Center this Sunday\, October 19 will be a scaled-back event. We’ve unfortunately had to cancel the hayrides\, other outdoor activities\, and our overflow parking and bus service. Parking will be available onsite and connecting picnic groves only. We still invite you to join us for some free activities both inside and outdoors\, including crafts\, storytelling\, and pumpkins\, as well as food and local honey for sale from vendors. Special performances by a mariachi band under the back porch overhang. While the event is smaller than planned\, we look forward to celebrating the season with you! Please call 847-824-8360 with any questions.\n\nCelebrate the season with a special day of autumn fun.  Entertainment\, beekeeping demonstrations\, animal encounters\, pumpkin painting\, honey sales\, and more! Admission is free; there may be small fees for some activities and food available to purchase.
