2016 Picnic & Event Permits

Picnic and events permits may be purchased online with Visa or MasterCard or in person with cash, check, Visa or MasterCard (and a driver’s licenses or state ID) at our General Headquarters (536 N. Harlem Ave., River Forest, IL 60305). The entrance to the parking lot is one block west of Harlem Ave, off of Bonnie Brae. The permit office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.


Large Events: Events with an estimated attendance of 1,000+ can submit their applications (via email at, USPS mail or in person) as early as Dec. 14, 2015. Applications will be processed on a first come, first served basis. Please call (800) 870-3666, option #2, for additional questions. Events that include routes, such as walks or runs, are required to submit the proposed route with the application.
