You can also choose to receive notifications of solicitations for bids (an amount of $25,000 or more) by e-mail each time a formal solicitation is made as well as requests for quotations (solicitations under $25,000).

All vendors are advised that the Forest Preserves of Cook County is under no obligation to distribute e-mail notifications for solicitation of bids and requests for quotations. The Forest Preserves disclaims any liability/responsibility for doing so/or not so doing. All vendors must check our Purchasing Website to determine when the bid responses are to be submitted.

Minority & Women Business Enterprises

Many Forest Preserves projects set goals for Minority Business Enterprises (MBE) and Women Business Enterprises (WBE) participation. These businesses must be certified by Cook County or the City of Chicago to qualify.

For bidding opportunities with MBE/WBE goals, bidders must submit an MBE/WBE Utilization Plan with their bid.
