The mission of the Finance and Administration Department is to oversee and manage all financial affairs and administrative functions related to financial accounting, internal and external auditing, and purchasing, with an increased emphasis on the implementation of controls, accountability, technology and cross training.

If you sell a commodity or service, you may find a market in the Forest Preserve District, we are constantly seeking new sources of supply. The District’s Board of Commissioners welcomes your participation in these efforts.
Click on the Vendor Enrollment link to register today. After you have registered, you will have access to download the documents for all District postings. You can also choose to receive notifications of solicitations for bids (an amount $25,000 or more) by e-mail each time a formal solicitation is made as well as request for quotations (solicitations under $25,000).
All vendors are advised that the District is under no obligation to distribute e-mail notifications for solicitation of bids and request for quotations. The District disclaims any liability/responsibility for doing so/or not so doing. All vendors must check the newspaper (Chicago Tribune) or our web site to determine when the bid responses are to be submitted. No formal published advertisements are made for quotation requests.
