Finance & Administration

The Finance & Administration (F&A) Department is responsible for the financial management and fiscal stewardship of the Forest Preserves.

F&A supports all Forest Preserves’ departments in achieving the goals of the Next Century Conservation Plan by implementing sound financial management principles through annual budgeting, accurate financial record keeping, payroll, competitively procured goods and services, and timely payment to vendors. Additionally, the F&A Information Technology team provides hardware, software, telecommunication and other technological tools to assist with daily operations.

The Finance & Administration Department has received a Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting from the Government Finance Officers Association annually since 2009.
