The Forest Preserves of Cook County is monitoring the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency’s Air Quality Alert. We will update our Events page and post about any impacts on programs/events in the Preserves through the duration of the alert.

According to the IEPA, all individuals should:

• Avoid strenuous outdoor activities
• Keep outdoor activities short
• Consider moving physical activities indoors or rescheduling them
