Volunteer

Linne Woods

Linne Woods features a variety of spring and summer wildflowers with a canopy of oaks and hickories and an understory of ironwood and black cherry. Help remove buckthorn and other weedy species, protecting the native woodland ecosystem.

Linne Prairie

This 30 acre prairie has been impacted by agriculture, garbage dumping, and used for limestone spoil. Volunteers have dedicated themselves to restoring this land and protecting the adjacent high quality prairie remnant, oak-hickory forest, and riparian areas from invasive species and other threats. Experience the beauty of its re-establishment and the return of wildlife.
