Volunteer Opportunities
This site sits along the south bank of the Chicago River. The woodland is dominated by majestic ancient bur oaks and filled with wild hyacinth in the spring. An adjacent old field is being restored to prairie. Join the North Branch Restoration Project volunteers as they work to protect the site from weedy invasive species and other threats.
