Celebrate Openlands’ 60th anniversary by paddling the African American Heritage Water Trail on the Little Calumet River! Take a guided canoe ride through history and nature with Wilderness Inquiry’s canoe mobile. Experience the beauty of the river and learn about themes in history on the east end of the trail such as the Underground Railroad and environmental justice.
