For court-ordered community service NOT requiring supervision, you can earn service hours through our SOLO Litter Obliterators program. Follow the steps below to register:
For non-court ordered community service (school, community group, church) you can earn service hours through our SOLO Litter Obliterators and Ecological Stewardship programs. Follow the steps below to register:
- Create a volunteer profile at fpdcc.com/volunteer
- Register for an approved program:
SOLO (court ordered and non-court ordered)
Ecological Stewardship (non-court ordered community service ONLY). All youth under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. - Volunteer with your selected program
- Report your hours on your online profile. Need help? See the Logging Hours Primer.
- When you have completed and reported the number of hours required, email us at volunteer.fpd@cookcountyil.gov to ask for a report on Forest Preserves of Cook County letterhead. Please allow two business days to receive your report.
