Learn the importance of Black environmentalists and the history of the Forest Preserves’ trails as it relates to the Underground Railroad Movement. Grove 1.

Walk & Talk Hikes are for the curious mind who wants to know more about the Forest Preserves and natural areas. These walks will be led at a slower pace with frequent stopping and interpretation.
