Join the Jane Goodall Institute and the Forest Preserves of Cook County for a community memorial honoring Dr. Jane Goodall’s extraordinary life — a life dedicated to compassion, curiosity and caring for the natural world. (Grove #1)
Together, we’ll gather outdoors in one of Chicago’s most beautiful forest preserves to celebrate Dr. Jane’s deep connection to nature. This event, will include several meaningful ways to give back in her honor, for those who wish to participate.
Activities include:
- Nature journaling
- Litter pickup
- Dog and nature walk
- Speaking program at 3:30 pm
Families, friends, students and community members of all ages are encouraged to attend and take part in continuing Dr. Jane’s legacy of hope and stewardship.
