Crabtree Nature Center is home to more than a thousand acres of rolling, glacier-formed landscape in northwest Cook County. Join Sammy Cabindol where he works and birds everyday to observe birds in the prairie habitat at Crabtree. Late summer and early fall is when the Midwest prairies come alive with blooms, seeds and a wide range of colors that draw the birds in as well.

Cost for event entry is $10. Urban Birding Festival registration is $30.
