POLICY GOVERNING FLYING MODEL AIRPLANES WITHIN THE FOREST PRESERVE DISTRICT
There are nine designated Model Airplane Flying Fields located throughout the Cook County Forest Preserve District. Please note that flying model aircraft is only allowed in these designated locations and is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Permission for organizations/clubs or single-occasion, exclusive use can be given by obtaining a Special Activity Event Permit. Such requests will be granted only in the case of a contest or similar demonstration.
