Celebrate National Public Lands Day with a full day of activities. Paddle on the lake with Wilderness Inquiry. Join the 4-H kick-off and learn about 4-H, meet leaders, participate in games, demonstrations, and family activities. Funkadesi will play its blend of Indian bhangra, Bollywood & folk with reggae, funk, and Afro-Caribbean grooves while celebrating 30 years of music. In partnership with Wilderness Inquiry, Cook County 4-H, and Funkadesi.
- 4-H Kick-off Family Activities: Noon to 3 pm
- Paddling: Noon to 6 pm
- Funkadesi Live Performance: 5:30 pm
- Night Walks & Telescope Viewing: 7:30 to 9 pm
