Beloved by locals and admired by adventurers nationwide, the Sag Valley offers restored woodlands, invigorating hiking and access to nature not far from urban life. On this hike through the Sag Valley, we’ll explore the forested, glacially carved landscape while keeping an eye out for the critters that call this area home. If we’re lucky, we might even cross paths with a native red fox. Along the way, we’ll share some hiking tips and offer insight into the region’s history and ecosystem. This hike is perfect for hikers of all levels – no experience required, though you’ll need to feel comfortable walking on uneven terrain for about 4 miles.
