Description:
Celebrate Openlands’ 60th anniversary by paddling the African American Heritage Water Trail on the Little Calumet River! Take a guided canoe ride through history and nature with Wilderness Inquiry’s canoe mobile. Experience the beauty of the river and learn about history on the west end of the trail such as themes in civil rights, including Major Taylor, the Village of Robbins and the Robbins Airport.
